LOCKHEED Martin Australia will be the anchor tenant of the $500-million Williamtown Aerospace Centre, with other global defence companies tipped to follow suit.
Marketed by a public and private consortium including Port Stephens and Newcastle councils, and Hunter Land, first stage, 1 Technology Place, is being constructed now, on a site adjoining the RAAF and Newcastle Airport, and promises to bring employment diversification to the region.
