Cyber security company Alpha Echo charts expansion into Precinct 52

WILLIAMTOWN, NSW Australia – May 2024 – Alpha Echo

Alpha Echo is an Australian company that specialises in security advice and enterprise wide Cyberworthiness. The company has a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts that work closely with Defence and Industry to deliver on Cyber outcomes at a military grade level.

Alpha Echo is scheduled to move into bespoke secure facilities within Williamtown Aerospace Centre Precinct 52 (WAC P52) in 2027.

Director of Alpha Echo, Joshua Weeks commented, “Our company has grown significantly over the last two years, and with this growth comes the requirement to consider long-term secure facilities. The Cyber domain continues to influence the Defence Industry, Government and business so we envisage further expansion and the requirement for a ‘fit for purpose’ space to operate. Several of our current contracts are with Defence and the ability to be located at Williamtown will only enhance this relationship. We are excited to be a part of the next phase of the Williamtown Aerospace Centre and establishing a permanent home at Precinct 52.”

General Manager of Alpha Echo, Rebecca Shepherd says “The demand for our services is increasing and Precinct 52 will allow us to maintain the required rate of effort to meet industry needs. The ability to access secure facilities remains a challenge in the region so we welcome the opportunity to work with James and his team to create the appropriate facility for our business. We cannot ignore the impact that Cyber activity is having on our industry and society in general so the ability to be able to expand and continue to meet the needs of our partners is critical.”

Managing Director, James Garvey commented, “We are excited to work with a Hunter based industry leading cyber security firm, Alpha Echo.  Alpha Echo has grown substantially in the past seven years to now be seeking a second presence from the initial offices in Hunter Street, Newcastle.  Joshua Weeks and his team will continue to support the Australian Defence Force and commercial industry with local sovereign capability.  These emerging Defence SME companies continue to flourish and grow Williamtown Aerospace Centre as a Defence Technology cluster.  The WAC P52 development team are humbled to continue to be trusted and chosen by local, national and international Defence firms to deliver facilities that meet and exceed their specific requirements.
