Defence to sign MOU with University of Newcastle
What:
The Australian Defence College will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Newcastle to explore how virtual simulation can be used to further enhance education and training. Through the MOU, University of Newcastle honours and postgraduate students will undertake research in cutting edge areas of virtual simulation that are directly relevant to the Australian Defence College.
When:
Friday 28 November 2014. Media should be at the RAAF Williamtown main security gate at 11.15 am for sign in.
Where:
The MOU signing will occur at the Directorate of Simulation, RAAF Base Williamtown.
Important:
All media representatives will require photo identification such as a driver’s licence to enter RAAF Base Williamtown.
Picture opportunity: In addition to the MOU signing, media will have an opportunity to see a short virtual simulation demonstration.
