Williamtown Aerospace Centre (WAC Holdings Pty Limited) has completed three buildings which are all fully leased in Stage 1 known as Technology Place. These buildings include custom facilities for Raytheon Australia, Lockheed Martin Australia, Nova Defence, Airbus, Bohemia Interactive Simulations and Plexsys. Boeing Defence Australia has taken over the top floor of Building D with premises to accommodate 50 staff. Viasat has selected WAC for it’s next Australian office and workshop facility.
Building E is currently under construction with 2,000 square metres of fully let commercial and light industrial units and an associated 2 level car park. The tenants include Milskil, Redarc Technologies, Dexata, University of Newcastle, Central Health Alliance, a pharmacy and café. Occupancy is expected during May 2017.
All properties have been custom designed to suit the tenants’ requirements in fulfilment of ongoing Department of Defence contracts. Each property has been built to meet Defence industry security requirements.
All tenancies at Technology Place have access to Defence Secure Networks (subject to Defence approvals).
WAC Holdings in partnership with Hunter Land offers commercial and technical space for lease in buildings designed for your needs. We are currently working with a number of parties to have another building potentially ready for occupancy in late 2017.
The new 95 room Mecure Hotel opened in August 2015.
Technology Place is located off the gateway to Newcastle Airport and Williamtown Drive. WACH’s campus design means you will be located with other aerospace and air industry companies, and adjacent to Australia’s largest operating Air Force base, RAAF Williamtown and Newcastle Airport for ease of access all over Australia.
